A debate about how many people beat shaper in this league
What percentage of the people playing this league do you think beat Shaper right now with no carry involved?

I saw many friends started this league. But many just stopped playing before even maps. Rest quit before reds. And kinda 10% still play. Guess 3-5% will do ubers.

How are you defining 'playing this league'? Still playing? playing and plan to continue? Played at least up until time 'x'?
Played at least once? I'd guess a small %; but I haven't seen any reliable statistics on the distribution. One way to try to figure something out would be to look at the distribution of levels in the ladders; but I can't find data on how many chars there are in each league total. |

is there even a point to beat him? you can just buy the fragments he drops. i guess SSF players would need to do the fight. not sure how many actually got that far. 45% is too high IMO,you ere closer with 20%

we were talking about how far people got into the game and as a measure, we said : progression of atlas /guardians/gear around 5 div / and killed shaper in these 2 weeks.

I'd say maybe 1% or 2 % Tops.
I've played this game for 10 years and have a level 95 char last league and NEVER killed shaper before. R.I.P. my beloved P.o.E.

I can do it in std no problem, as I still have a few working builds that meet the minimum prereqs.
As for league, I think a lot of us have found it hard to stay motivated. Just hitting 80 on my necro was a chore. The nerfs really hit her hard and the only reason she wasn't deleted is because I liked the name. If my roster wasn't full, I would have probably started another days ago. I just find it hard to get rid of things in std given how many things have already gone legacy in the last two leagues as is. More than anything, I think them forcing archnem on us after it went so poorly during the initial integration was a horrible idea. What really fuled the fire was nerfing loot on top of an already less than pleasant experience. Yep, totally over league play.

Something like 75% of players in any given league never even make it to yellow maps. The percent of people killing "pinnacle bosses" in a league is probably well under 10%. Somebody mentioned 2%, that wouldn't surprise me.
