But this is exactly the point my friend, people abandoned the league in droves, half of the playbase has already abandoned the league and we are only on the 4th day of the 100 predicted. In your immense arrogance, you don't realize that people don't need PoE but GGG does need people's support. A company exists to sell its product and if there aren't people willing to buy it, it goes bankrupt. all of sudden streamers dont have this crazy rng you guys have touted for years? Weird.

Hearing people say the drop rates are "not bad" are obviously in need of a hardmode... meanwhile, us casuals would prefer to the way things were before 3.19. 3.13 through 3.19 was mostly great!
3.19 feels like its paving way to become a freemium game.If this is the future for poe, I wont even play.

You don't want developers to cave in under reddit and tears on the forum. You want developers who have a strong philosophy and belief system, especially in core values of an aRPG. And decreasing the drop rates from the already absurd numbers, is not a bad thing.

And THAT is the 1 million dollar question. What's that definition of insanity again - "To do the same thing over and over and expect a different result"

It seems like GGG here is in this rut of "turn down for what" philosophies that it has hurt the game (and player base) irreparability.

GGG should consider "small" changes over time rather than massive-sweeping overhauls that have wicked downstream effects.
