game crashes and shuts down computer immediately upon startup

I was REALLY looking forward to this league. I was going to buy a supporter pack, too.

Well I have an update. And it's good news, I suppose. I have stopped the crashes from happening. All I did was disconnect my 4k tv that I had connected to the computer as a second monitor over HDMI. That's it. No more crashes. My primary monitor is connected over Display Port. Hopefully this helps.

Here's another update. It's happening again. This is getting ridiculous. I'm out of ideas.

Not a tech, but just some ideas since I’m dealing with computer issues too:
- is your PSU powerful enough to substain the pc while gaming?
- did you perform a CPU stress test?
- did you perform a GPU stress test?

Yes, the PSU is powerful enough (i'm pretty sure). It was one of the parts I replaced recently. I think I have figured it out though now. I believe these events have been overheating events, or at least related to one of my GPU's. I have two GTX 1070's in SLI, and one of them is older than the other by a few years. It's fans come on as soon as I start my computer. I can feel hot air coming out the back of that one and not the other. Turning graphics settings down seems to help the problem not happen. I looked at the temperature settings in HWinfo and didn't see a large discrepancy but I really think I'm on the right track here. I just downloaded a benchmarking program and will run that and see what I see.

according to the benchmark program i ran, one of my gpu's is running about 20C hotter than the other. I may have to replace it.
