Last chance to save Exalts
" As someone who still plays d2 I can not relate to your experience. The unique that drops would need to be 1. ethereal 2. best in slot for mercanery (something like eth andy visage with max rolls and added socket) The Reaper's Toll again ethereal with max roll and socket That happens so rarely that your chances of perfect roll headhunter are similar, and the divine orb price made little to no difference because to buy new headhunter cost about as much as rerolling badly rolled one. For comparison in the latest diablo 2 ladder I was doing 500runs per day with magic find blizzard teleporting witch and got only 1 visage, from solo hell baal run. It was not ethereal and it was not perfect roll (it was high roll tho) which is still basically worthless Ultra rare things like arachnid mesh or tyrael might cost just few ist runes. So there is no rush from getting them perfect. You would need to find blizzard wand with max cold dmg% roll or the lightning helm with max roll to have something of value which i doubt happened to you. Even running 8 bots 24/7 for 1 year will not get you one outside of trade. Where you can get some rush is from rune-crafting bases. Perfect templar shield with socket and armor roll? That cost ber+ (ber is like 50exalts) But not really uniques, and for sure not set items (from which the witch set is probably most expensive, like 5 ist for perfect chest piece with other parts being 0 to 2ist) Unless you get excited over what is equivalent of 15chaos orbs I do not believe that you got much if any excitingly rolled unique drops. Add the lack of item filter and even if good things drop you will likely not pick them up, that is also why they cost so much(perfect ethereal bases with slots for popular runewords) Last edited by u4UCn5cmk7tFdghP#4216 on Aug 13, 2022, 4:13:00 PM

I'm more thinking of things like perfect Mara's, where the price of a 30 res Mara would be multiple HR, and a low roll would sell for a Ohm at best, probably Vex.
That being said I haven't played since D2R released, as this ladder patch really ruined the game for me with lobbies not refreshing and it basically being impossible to trade. And of course it's incredibly rare to ID a perfect roll Unique, but the fact that Unique items you would leave on the ground can now generate excitement towards Identifying is a welcome change to me, Although I don't like the scarcity of Divine Orbs, as I previously stated. TLDR ; Like the change, Just wish they added a couple more avenues to obtain Divine Orbs, as it is they are likely to be Price Fixed to the point that only the incredibly rich will be able to craft items beyond Harvest re-rolls Edit: This is bad for any new player coming to the game, but it seems like GGG is on a mission to alienate a potential new player base lately. " Even with loads of MF and farming and divines and everything dropping in buckets - good rolls on 1C items went still for 50C for somewhat common items like Coralito, Abyssus and QoTF etc. Now the ranges are increased for a lot of items and you also won't have divines for it, on top of getting lot less uniques in overall. This league good roll 50C items will be at least 100 - 200C next league. Uploaded an awesome Exsanguinate Freeze Explosion build on the forums - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3508506

" I'd go as far as to say good roll 50c Items now will be worth the price of 2-3 divine orbs, and I would not be surprised at all if Divines are 400c each by week 3 of the league. |

There is no reason for 50c items to be more, because they were already not worth divine orbs.
Lets say flask can recover 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 or 10% life on use that is 10 rolls, if 10% goes for 50c and 1 divine cost 10chaos it is not worth rerolling even in current state. Now, real items have many more rolls than 10, so low-end items will not get large increase in value. What WILL be more valuable is like Furrax Fur Furry replica. That used to cost like 1200chaos for bad roll, so god roll would be like 5000chaos which is now equvalent of 8 divine orbs. But because divine itself is more expensive, I'd expect it to shoot up to 12 divines if not more. sooo yeah, i think you do not have a point when it comes to low-end items. But it will totally apply to high-end items where ppl seek perfection to min-max mirror-worthy builds. |

" Suprisingly I agree with you. I rly like that change as well. |

" I don't say you guys are wrong, but I will revisit this thread in 2 weeks after the Divine Orb price is realized in league and see what you think then. As I stated before I would not be surprised if Divine Orbs sell for 400c a couple weeks into the league and only the supremely rich are able to access meta-mod bench crafts, as they will be buying every single Divine orb to fund their crafting projects and supply will not be able to keep up with demand. Of course this is just a hypothesis, but if you've crafted any end game gear recently you would understand that it takes many many bench crafts to finish your item, and it is not realistic for anyone except the "supremely rich" as I have dubbed them earlier to be able to do these crafts. As someone who invests multiple mirrors into builds I'm not even sure I will have access to the currency required to craft for myself |

I couldnt care less. In fact the more expensive Divine Orbs become, the better for me.
|
|
|
Why is that? Do you not craft? I don't like to judge but looking at your gear you are not one of the rich players in this game. Genuinely curious as to why you would be happy with Divine prices rising
|

Exactly. I hate crafting, I always buy pre-made gear. So to me Divine Orbs were just "oh hey, 10c dropped". Now if I find one it will be "oh hey 300c dropped".
