Downloading the Game, Hash Error

Yup, same issue here. Been playing for years and first time seeing this.

I've tried everything also, same issue persists.

The issue seems to persist here (US West) but only seems to affect new installs.

I am running into this same issue as other users.

Fresh install of POE and "Bundles2/Art/particles/summon_relic/holy_relic.bundle.bin has the wrong hash."

I've ran PackCheck.exe multiple times (10+ times) and eventhough the PackCheck process says holy_relic.bundle.bin is out of sync and attempts a fix, I continue getting the same error as OP (wrong hash) on launching the game.

"Bundles2/Art/particles/summon_relic/holy_relic.bundle.bin" is corrupted here, too. Western Canada.

Working solution for privacy-minded individuals:

1. Proton VPN -> Download
2. New (free) Proton account using 10minutemail + asdfasdfasdf-esque account information.
3. Start connection to Europe or Asia
4. Launch + complete ~1gb of download in the PoE downloader
5. Uninstall Proton.



EDIT for GGG to find the at-fault web server:

Telus Communications ISP in Western Canada, my IP is 104.205.11x.xxx. Corrupted file is discovered with between 2.5 and 1.7gb left in download. VPN to US West region and attempt download to trace route back to the host.

This is GGGs issue. Last week and before that for years I installed the game without any problems this week every time I try to reinstall the game I get the hash error.

Same issue with different file (Europe)
