Synthesis 2.0 ?
Imho less rewarding that synthesis by a long shot. People are like "oh it's crazy we can now play tic tac toe to get loot". Most of your encounters will be poor in terms of returns and contrary to most league mechanics, you have to deal with it and it is invasive or it is less invasive but you have to understand how to price then trade the stuff(fun!). In the other hand, all the meta builds you'll pick online will soon have an average harvest investment for them(like expect spending x amount of y lifeforce to get the gear, mb 30% more in ssf and so on), you won't be able to chip some revenues to progress your gear from 6 sockets items, sentinels are gone and beyond juice is gone. My expectation about harvest is that it will be extremly obnoxious to deal with and the game will be balanced for people having 30% percentile harvest crafted gear, wich is a legit way of making sense out of content but the way it is designed for next patch looks like a daily quest gatcha currency, except it's not gatcha, it's not daily but it fucks up your wrist.

I think you forgot how NOT REWARDING the Synthesis league was. People were complaing that its not worth doing for pretty much entire league, even after they buffed rewards several time. The best way to make money on Synthesis was to ingore any reward islands and just spam bosses.

Not to mention how glitchy and buggy it was :( Hope this one is smoother and more intuitive.
