Well I'll hijack this thread to try to figure out recovery rate stuff. You guys are confusing two different stats.
To me, Life Regeneration Rate should be considered by ZO. Seems like the way ZO works is transforming flat and percent life regeneration to flat and percent ES regeneration. I guess ZO wasn't accordingly updated when 3rd life regen type of stats was added. According to this (you can remove text highlighting by right click) Recovery Rate applies after summing of all forms of recovery (regeneration, leech, etc). So the interaction with ZO makes sence. But Life Regeneration Rate just needs life regenration value for calculations, it applies locally to regeneration, not globally (that's why Recovery Rate is sometimes reffered to as global recovery). As for character stats screen, before 3.16 update, global recovery didn't reflect values changes there (no regen, no recharge, no leech), as Mark explained in the quote. Something has changed and they start to reflect since then, btw it also broke leech and Strength of Blood (leech immunity builds). I mention this change cuz we know our good old Mana Regeneration Rate stat which is been always affecting mana regen on character screen. So none of official responses is appropriate to this case and wiki just stays how it actaully works, no a source or explanation. I don't fully understand how this works, must be missing something. |
