can hideouts still be stolen?
with /save_hideout?
if yes, this kinda shits over people who want to be unique. imo thats the same as buying an mtx and someone just copies it without your permission, you wouldnt like that would you ggg? if its been fixed, ignore and close this thread, ty Last bumped on Aug 28, 2022, 1:07:14 PM

@ggg mods in case they read this topic (although press [x] to doubt), your "/save_hideout" command works even in other peoples hideouts, making it able to save literally any hideout regardless of ownership
whats the bump time btw? |

" If you're asking how often you may bump the thread then, I don't think that there is any limit. Although bumping once a day is usually enough to keep a thread on the first page. I think there is a bump option where the author can bump the thread without posting but, I don't use that and so can't speak to its limits. Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!

" You may want to use the search option and bump the one on this subject that already has a dozen of pages instead of creating a new topic on the matter. I think that is also much more effective if you want GGG to notice a topic. That being said I agree it's being pretty stupid anyone can copy from someone else for a lot of reasons that have been mentioned a dozen of times in one of those mege threads in sure you can find and bump ^^ |

It is hard to claim ownership if you don't have the right to own it based on ToS :)
And as it is infinitely replicable, it is a nice feature to have. I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |

I think if you want to make sure your original design is credited to you, then post here in these forums and hideoutshowcase.com as soon as you complete it and before you allow a stranger into it in-game.

" okay then 1 day it is! " i didnt know there was a thread :( i actually lost the desire to play and didnt play for like 1-2 years because of this as i kinda only make hideouts and dont really enjoy the game itself " i wasnt talking from a legal standpoint, but from a moral one. do you think it would be morally right for someone to copy an mtx that someone else paid for by using an exploit in the game? cause this is, morally speaking, literally the same thing. for example i used to randomly give out hideouts to friends and everyone had a unique one. this kinda killed that idea so now i have zero desire to play. and im not really mad either, i have a lot of stuff to do and will do it until this gets fixed. if it doesnt get fixed, i simply wont play. ggg wont lose much as i never pay for anything and i wont lose much cause poe isnt really that high of my list of favorite games " i dont really care about being credited for anything, its the uniqueness i enjoy and this removes it :( Last edited by anusmaster3000#0188 on Jul 30, 2022, 5:57:01 PM

" Well, then just don't invite anyone into your basement..errm, i meant hideout. Problem solved. As for GGG, i can't see why they would want to remove some feature that can lead to potential MTX sales. "Path of Exile's engine is currently modern, lean and fast." - Chris Wilson, September 19th, 2019

" well first of all, because its the morally right thing to do. although i do realize you have a point because ggg values profits over everything but even with that said, ggg cant really profit from this because i, along with many other hideout creators, consider that intellectual theft and will simply refuse to make hideouts under those rules so its their loss. i already dont like the game, so without hideouts i will simply leave the whole thing. i know ggg doesnt care, but neither do i |
