Head Hunter was way more fun than Mage Blood

Mageblood is fine, but feels like a way to hit the stats you need, nothing more or less. Nothing thrilling or exciting about it. Just hit stats.

Prime Head Hunter with inspired learning jewels builds made you reach insane heights, sizes (tee hee) three times bigger than screen, speed, thrill, Prime head hunter FORCED you to juice the hell out of your maps, it was just more fun than this new belt.

yeah HH was much more iconic in terms of what it granted, mageblood is just OP it doesn't really offer anything that exciting you could do the same for any slot fairly easily
I think due to the raw power Mageblood offers for defenses people ignore its more creative uses, for example mods like cast speed, attack speed, curse effect reduction, regeneration or other jun-specific mods. Those could be a lot of fun while offering different layers of additional offense or nieche defenses.

But the fact that the flask mods scale incredibly well with determination/grace/defiance banner basically makes granite + jade with reflex and armour-mods too easy no-brainers. Finish it with a quicksilver flask of the cheeta for 200 mp/h and a flask with additional resistances to free suffixes and the raw power and suffix-flexibility it delivers is just simply too good to pass it on, locking 4/4 flasks. I used them myself like this, and I can agree - it´s kind of the way to immortality or big tankyness, but it´s not really the most creative way to use the belt.
For me, old HH made the game much harder to actually play in terms of character control and while it was fun for a while I got sick of it fast. Especially on top of the ridiculous visual cancer it created. I much prefer mageblood. I can be extremely fast but not totally out of control and still be OP.

This was my first league I used Mageblood. I do think HeadHunter is more fun, but Mageblood was a nice change of pace. I've not tried the reworked HeadHunter, so not sure how I feel about it till most likely next league.
The reason they are chase items is very different. Mageblood has more universally utility in my experience of both. HH let you do things that nothing else in the game really does, but in other instances had no utility like pinnacle boss fights.

i disagree if you were to ask people what they would choose HH or mageblood 9 out of 10 will say mageblood becuz mageblood offers huge diversity for your build and it makes your character to gear much more easier and people like diversity and they like to gear characters easily and no one likes to spam flasks all the time every few seconds mageblood offers all that and fits on any build in the game while headhunter feels just out of place sure its fun sometimes to be big boi but not many builds can use it efficient and it sucks against bosses
HH = more fun and unique, shines in specific situations like 5-ways and juiced deli's
Mageblood = great allrounder for everything

well fun is subjective i dont find hh fun at all
