we don't need more nerfs. instead ggg should make active playstyles more viable and not bring everyone down to the trash tier. If you want a more difficult game just play HC SSF on an off-meta build

In the hardest most competitive event the top shows specifically the builds that are known to do well?

Even if there'd be more meta diversity in normal league, gauntlet would still show a reduction of that. A 1% difference will even do that on the top level.


Should, for example, SH/ST be nerfed? Yep. But not because of gauntlet. We already knew they need a bit of tuning. A bit of a different power curve for SH and a bit more investment needed for ST.


But don't take what those pro gauntlet runners do with a skill and reason balance from there over normal long lasting leagues.

They do though? Historically nerfs are whats highlighted as busted by HC SSF and gauntlets like a giant red flag "hey look whats broken", the fewer builds on display the more obvious it is.
Just cause outliners are highlighted by an event doesn't mean the game or skills are balanced around it, but i kinda see what you mean and sure in that sense you could say they do.

Also hc ssf and cauntlet are not the same, in an event like this it only makes sense that a couple of builds would be played

Its a focusing lens, they are the same thing really - obviously gauntlet is more extreme but the same builds tend to get represented on both its just that gauntlet elevates the power requirements even more.

As its a class gauntlet or w/e they call it you should see a strong build for each base start but we don't really even get that its just less optimised EA/DD/Seismic rotated through them all.

Its exactly what they expected when they kept the meta identical though I just think it was an absolutely terrible selling point which is why i'm here moaning still, I like fresh and this feels really really stale now.
I remember old times when Mathil was showing every single build on less than 5ex budged that can kill every single boss in the game, i know it was SC, but still it was viable to do every single boss in the game with nearly 80% of all skills.

After the support gems nerf we can see only few skill that have still broken mechanics,damamage and interactions.


It is so funny to see DD 1 level skill that can go and do end game content, well just made DD to scale less or something 1 level 0,1% of corpse and increase to 3% at level 20, thats not even fun to have game mechanics allow you to use 1 level skill and do insane amount of damage LOL

THe minimal possible, at least TRY.

They nerf things that are not overpowered (poison attack builds were near 0 anyway before they cut elder double damage mod), while leaving stuff like DD / skele mage / CoC cyclone ice spear doing 60M dps.

Who is planning this out? What is their strategy? What is their logic?

Why is this a hard concept?

If a build has zero representation (chain hook????) why is it not getting an auto buff?
