[BUG] Atlas stuck - Maven instroduction to Searing Exarch not spawning (missing Luminous Astrolabe)

I have now run a multitude of red tier maps with & without Maven Beacon active. But the interaction never spawns which would allow me to get the Beacon for the Exarch (Luminous Astrolabe quest item drop).


I also (very likely) know the cause:
I did join in for a Searing Exarch kill (challenge) before I unlocked him on my map device.
Noteworthy mention is that I also did try to get the Omniscient Voidstone after the kill from Kirac, but game did crash on me with a "unexpected disconnect" error. At that point Kirac had two Voidstones to pick up, but I only got the first one (never seen the Omniscient, but I think there were 2 lines for the pick up). Kirac did not offer the Voidstone again afterward. Later with a bought Invitation I got the Omniscient Voidstone but initial bug remains - I even run more maps. I might have also lost some Atlas passives if I was supposed to get a book.

Character is the only one I have in Sentinel League, Toyume.


Please fix this so I can actually progress the beacon challenges..

Advice I've seen in older threads on this subject has been to run tier 8-11 maps if you're looking for the beacon.

Can you give me any of those? I was not able to find any other similar case.

Also I did run like a dozen maps already too, Maven wants to witness highest tier after next invitation. Would help if I knew whether I need Maven Beacon active in the maps to trigger it as well.

The thread I looked at before posting was this one, without realizing it was rather recent.

Looking for something actually older, eventually I found this older one that described not having beacons and doing mostly T14+ maps.

Also found 2-3 other threads, without a follow-up from the op.

Having Maven witness the map shouldn't be necessary to get the beacon.

Thanks for the info, they seem to have luck on lower tiers. I've now run more maps from T7 to T10 with one each tier (+ a T4 for good measure). Also another T10 witnessed too, just in case. No luck.


Noteworthy is that I still have the quests and some of the other reports might actually be from people who skipped to red maps through trading and never did actually break the quest.
Another funny thing is that I have not seen the Maven Messenger appear in maps at all since then.

Any chance that can be looked into?

I kinda need that thing to work for the altar challenge and am now loosing motivation to even try any at all..

Have you also tried progressing the eater of worlds?
I don't know if it's maven witnesses that reveal the other beacon or eater witnesses but I think it may be EoW

Hmm - truth be told - I actually have not run eater much at all jet (like 2-3 maps after bug). Will try to do so for a few dozen more, thanks.

On another connected note: I have not seen The Envoy in any maps for a very long time. Been maybe only once since the bug occurred and that map I ran out of portals before exploring all.

After some more maps, I wanted to mention that I did find the Quest event/item in a T16 with Eater influence - EXACTLY when I also got the Writhing Invitation‌.
So it still took multiple maps (though only a few T16 in total).
