Question About Macro/Reverse-Automation

From other posts on the forum I know that:
1 press = 1 server action is the general stance on macros.
So if I rebind right click to scroll wheel for alt-spamming that is fine.
Obviously if I have some program look at the item im scrolled over and press left click based on what the item looks like that is not allowed (I have 'automated' the press and am not actually pressing the key)

My question is if I can automate NOT pressing a key. AKA: Bind scroll wheel to left click, have a program with image processioning look at the screen, parse what I rolled with my last alteration use, if it is a good item then when i use scroll wheel again it blocks the command from being sent to the POE client.

Technically speaking (as far as I know) this isn't prohibited because you are simply not doing an action, but in the spirit of the rules (not automating clicking), automating NOT-clicking is scripting/automation. Particularly If I look at: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1694310/page/2#p13481955 A 'script/macro' like this would only be performing one server side action at any times, it would just be choosing when NOT to perform that action.

A similar more obvious macro would be something like:
When you trigger scroll wheel down check the HP on screen
If player HP is below 100% logout

Its not automatically logging out when you go below 100% life, its just by spamming the key you will log out the first time you hit the key after your drop below 100% life.

TLDR: My understanding is GGG's stance on this is something like:
"We do not allow macros that make keys: A) perform more then one server side action per-keystroke B) perform a different server side action from the same key (but on different keystrokes)"
I am wondering if GGG's stance includes this:
"C) (attempt to) perform a server side action conditionally"

You are automating gameplay. Not allowed.

Need help? Contact Support :)
Could you send me a PM about this too? I also would like to know what OP does

it's pretty easy: he automated his input in a way that he can't click anymore if a desired result in the game is achieved.

this kind of automatisation is forbidden, the same way as sending more than one command to the server on one key click.

also, mapping the mouse wheel to the lmb so it left clicks when you scroll is forbidden because permanent clickrates of the same time between your clicks is triggering the bot detection on the servers.
you won't get a outright ban on this but support will probably have a closer look at other data of your account.

I believe binding your left click to mouse wheel is okay as long as it's not automated. You still have to perform an action to get an action, it's just more efficient.
