Headhunter Ideas
I have posted this in suggestions as well, but I feel better conversation will be made here about it. Let's discuss what can be done to help bring HH up to pre-archnem strength.
"With the latest HH buff, it has definitely become more viable again. However, the issue is movement speed. There is very few archnem mods that increase movement speed and due to them not stacking, HH severely lacks it. Mageblood + Inspired learning is still the better combination. I think a good fix for this would be to have HH add xx% increased movement speed (or action) per modifier attained. This would bring HH back up close to its former glory." It could also be something that stacks up fast. So like xx% increased movement/action speed, up to a maximum of 3. So that allows speed to ramp up fairly quickly rather than having a comfortable speed when you are already halfway through the map. or xx% inc movement/action speed if you have killed a rare enemy recently. My dude, they clearly don't want HH to return to pre-3.17 state where it was essentially uncontrollable from a balance standpoint. It has capped potential now regardless of how you hard you juice, same story with Mageblood.

" Capping isnt the issue with it atm. The issue is a lack of movement speed. Well that and some mod issues with damage conversions and disabling movement skills via flicker style abilities... but yeah, there is still quite a few things that need addressed/balanced with it. |

" And it probably isn't from what I'm seeing, and many others who stopped using Mageblood for Headhunter. HH's power level is insane right now and I am not sure if it needs more development time for even further buffing. Probably at this point this development resources should probably be used in further improving other aspects of the game, such as non-headhunter gameplay. People still crying about HH's power level, I'm not sure if they've actually used one after the patch. At this point, HH is more than fine from a power level standpoint right now IMO, and if anymore tweaking needs to be done, its probably to remove the aspects of the game with it that make players wonder if they have latency issues and if they should be switching internet service providers (we know what I'm talking about), than actually further buffing the belt. If i get even a HH I may crap myself. Im level 92 and get a few raw Ex to drop every league. This league has been fun even with mods. That being said HH is trash compared to what it once was. The game is progressing in a forward motion. Everyone stop crying about the league mechanics and play. You all should have rolled winions..... Get Guud >.<

" If you don't have a HH, and you've never had a HH, I would probably refrain myself from commenting too much about how good it is or not pre and/-or after nerf/buff. HH is massively powerful right now, and the top-end might be apparently lower when heavy juicing, it's still so massively powerful right now that I'm not sure of how much of an issue it is. On the other end, it might be a lot more consistent than it used to be right now with the amount of mods stolen quickly + how long they last out of the bat, so that would at least counter-balance the top end. I've had a HH pretty much every league since the last year and a half. |

there's your first problem, it doesn't need to be brought back to that power level. It wasn't a chase item, it was THE item to get, trumping everything else and trivializing entire portions of the end game. It got knocked down a ton of pegs? Good. |
