SUPER CYCLONE SLAYER 50EX in and cant even kill metamorph or essence high Tier bosses

I personally quit the game yesterday and gave away around 70 ex in currency and gear just to make sure that I'm truly done with the game - it's crazy how hard off-meta builds fell off in terms of defenses and damage, capped standard resistances and 5k HP + 700 ES and Ghost Dance with 70%+ evasion and 100% suppression AND elusive at 150% on average doesn't mean anything at all now, after getting instantly tagged by Uber Exarch 6 times in a row ( 5 times by his Annihilation barely grazing my character and instantly melting me and 1 time getting OHKO'd by the minotaur), I'm just done with the game if I'm borderline FORCED to play meta builds to survive anything at all, there's just no way to work in every single defensive layer into off-meta builds now while having any

Haha, this has to be one of the most stupid posts I've read in a while.

While he goes on to say he's not "surviving anything at all", he's using Uber Exarch as an example. If you can progress up to that point, your build is more or less a success. The Uber fights are designed to be unfair/BS. They are designed for you to take advantage of every offensive/defensive mechanic. If the Uber fights are your measurement of success, of course an off-meta build will struggle.

Do I agree that the distance/difference between certain skills is fucked? Absolutely - especially when it comes to investment and how/when certain skills scale. But to use Uber fights as an example? Come on, the game is larger than that. I actually want the hardest fight to force you to alter your build before.

To OP: I haven't looked at your build, but I can tell you that with 50ex+, you can scale Cyclone to do 95% of the game. Double that, and you can do 99% of the game. Sadly, pure physical scaling is on a low these last leagues and needs a buff. And if we don't count LS and certain other Nightblade/Omniscience (ab)users, melee takes some serious scaling/investment these days.

I'm starting a Cyclone Slayer later today, as I found a couple of nice Forbidden Flesh/Flame. Not really afraid of investment as I like the journey more than the destination.

Nono, OK, Dual Strike it is.

I just didn't quite understand why it had to be "no Cyclone", as Cyclone is far from META - and not really stronger than your average melee skill.

Starting soon, just need an hour of theory craft first. You need a daily update, or?

Well ths was expected, wasn´t it?

People don´t get what aspirational content mean. They repeatedly call out balance issues while focussing on the hardest content available, because all the new added content has to be beaten by every single build, preferably on a really low budget because the same people that complain also can´t farm anything since they lack the knowledge and are often poor af.

With recombinators and the atlas passive skill tree GGG has introduced vastly new options for people to farm money, to farm content they want and to progress into endgame. They´ve introduced new aspirational content for the top 0.5%.
But the community takes the new endgame bosses and sais now "every build has to be able to beat them else game is unfair pepeg".

It would be funny if it wasn´t so sad.

Cyclone is the #4 skill on poeninja builds. It looks like it is mainly used to trigger other skills. Cyclone will always be meta. It allows players to move AND do damage at the same time.

Cyclone is smooth...other melee skills are janky. I think Dual Strike is suitably janky.

I do not need a daily update although I read forums daily. I will check out your build in 2 weeks.

Cyclone will forever be best skill... move and attack and dodge all at same time? No brainer. Thats why they constantly fucking with it. Out right killed discharge. Self attack pretty lame now but triggers are still hot (or shall I say hot again heh). Get on the ice spear band wagon and dont look back

Im partial to inquisitor profile with 90K armor (see poe ninja)

I might have fell into the same trap as you OP, but I paid like 2ex total for my gear and got bored before investing more as the damage wasnt there.

Bruh...mageblood, nice elevated boots, proceed to put aoe enchant on a staff used for attacking instead of quality increasing the weapon damage. Why
