Cyclone Slayer got dumpstered pretty hard multiple patches in a row, so that it can only exist as an enabler for CoC, which is how it must be played in The Vision. It's one of those builds that requires ridiculous investment to be mediocre. Cyclone Slayer and his little brother Starforge are only alive in our memories. I've had at least one cyclone for every league I've put real time into since Legion and the cyclone rework. I don't think its been "fun" for me since legion, well maybe part of delirium with the clusters and hollow palm. But I've used it so often I know I can always get it scaled up enough to take down shaper unlike most of the meta builds in the past that I had at one point or another. Yep, totally over league play. Oh and I watched that video earlier for the build --- a bit misleading. Vids like that spend a ton of time on clearing easy trash but when it comes to boss kills or even guardians it just cuts to near the killing blow "hiding" the actual benchmarks of what to actually expect.
