Problem with COMMUNICATION: Omniscience & Ashes of the Stars

Stacking any stat instead of just one? Yea totally fair game play. You shouldn't be able to get a 2 stat roll on gear + health and call it a day.

And what does that stacking achieve? It's not like its giving you flat added damage per stat like other stat stackers. Its just resistance penetration which is only meaningful on endgame bosses which have high resistances, for regular mapping it almost makes no difference.

It just gave builds that had bad single target before such as bow builds a chance at taking on those bosses. So you're wrong, its not a 50ex item.

I got my HH for 110ex week2 of last league and it instantly trivialized mapping for the rest of the league, allowing me to run fully juiced deli maps & farm 5 ways. Omni/ashes is nowhere near that level of power.

Yeah they nerfed the drop rate way too much, a 5% drop rate would've been good.
10ex is a reasonable price for those items in my opinion, because they're not a crazy power boost like HH or mageblood & don't trivialize any content just by themselves like those belts.

Omni wasn't something u just slap on any character and dominate everything instantly. Takes reasonable amounts of stat stacking which isn't too easy to achieve. Same for ashes, it was mostly beneficial for alt quality gems to enable certain builds.

Another big reason why those 2 were so popular last league was coz they were new and people like to play with shiny new toys. I slapped an ashes on my skele mage although it wasn't BiS or anything, just fun to try out.

I think the only problem with Ashes is it can essentially be BiS for every build except Omni builds. It allows you to stack in an extra aura or two if you focus on mana res for chest/helm with implicit mana reserve on helm from one of the ichor/embers (forget which), or just put your main skill to 50% quality -- or nearly 50% with +1 and mana res.

So it's not in and of itself bis until you get it, once you build around having it, and augment a lil thing here or there -- big deeps and super stronk build

LOL.

So you think that im picking on the damage aspect of omni and thats it? You kidding me? It gives you res on top of ele pen for stacking any stat you want. Thats completely busted, you know, I know it, and the developers know it as well.

It gives any build a laugh factor in 2 forms,

1: now none of your gear requires res or requires very little of it. And you can just stack offense, or any insane mods since hey, the amulet supplements all your res and your damage by giving you freedom from an entire part of the game, resistances.

2: And you cannot run into any stat requirements.

Both of which hinders gear options for every single build that doesnt use omni. We have to craft around our stats/resistances to get to decent power. Omni using builds do not

You think that should come cheap???

Puhhhlease.
