Super awesome the update is provided prior to league launch time, my start was delayed over an hour last league start as the client has to update.

What would be a better experience is if the update was made available a few days before the league start, and the client was able to download and update the local content early, but just prevent displaying the content or creation of new league characters until the league start time.

Then users will have a better preparation leading into the league by upgrading early, still be able to play earlier content / characters, and won't be disadvantaged at league start.

The torrent is a great start, but there's opportunity to improve the upgrade and league start experience further; not everyone understands torrents.
