Hunter's boots with tailwind - couldn't use awakener's orb - why?

Honestly there are only two possibilities here either its a bugged item and needs a report over on the bug section or you are doing something wrong with the process.
If you right click the awakener orb and left click the boots and it says this item doesn't have an influence I'd just go bug report it and maybe just take the hit and buy another pair to roll.

Yeah doesn't glow it seems fairly random as to which items get their outline or not on the forums.
Thanx. I won't buy another pair, I'd rather keep alt spamming the other boots once I get enough alts again. Maye that will work.
But also I'll report this in the bug section. I'm not happy with the situation.
