If a boss tutorial is required to avoid a surprise one shot then it's a bad design.
" there are people who say the remaining watchstones and last few atlas passives are not "necessary". i am not one of those people. i really dislike that the best strategy for a new player or a weak player to get these benefits ASAP, is to just buy a carry service. [Removed by Support]

" While i'm not against carries for whom is ready to pay for, GGG has to change their stance on gating basic content. While the game should have harder content (aka aspirational content) for the most hardcore players of the player base, basic full T16 atlas should be accessible to whom ever is capable of doing one T16 map, even with death. Path of Exile is a Casino for gambling addicts. Gambling is not fun nor a game mechanic... Last edited by Azarhiel#6045 on Mar 29, 2022, 4:00:02 AM

@covenant: you provided some very bad examples...YES you know to avoid the shaper slam AND the red circle Elder thing the very first time you run the boss. The directions are quite literally in the speech given. If not the first time, then definitely before the 6 portals are up.
For the Elder, the girl tells you to go to her quickly and she's the one making the circle. So...uh...you go to her. The shaper is CLEARLY winding up for a massive attack so you stay the hell away. The maven floor fire literally LEADS you to the edge. Gamers have gotten LAZY with PoE. There are plenty of non-telegraphed, poorly designed mechanics outside of bosses. But I would say MOST bosses have decently telegraphed attacks, whether through speech or animation. The ONLY boss currently that is poorly designed in the 1hko category is Sirus, and even he somewhat telegraphs. Don't just blindly run back in or resurrect. Take a moment at the death screen and look around! Last edited by jsuslak313#7615 on Mar 29, 2022, 7:02:24 AM

New keystone coming up:
2% chance to not consume a portal on use. 4% chance to gain an additional portal when you died. Take 20% more damage if you haven't died in the area. |
