Dear GGG, please lower the overall difficulty of the game

Half the bosses I have not seen or fought, all just copy streamers who plays this 24/7. So you cant experiment as you please, you can but you wont see end game. THIS game is suppose to appeal to your bigger audience, not the 1% of streamers that do this for a living.

Solution, simple do what diablo does, remove white yellow and red maps, add tiers, so tier 1 you can play all content and bosses, at level x, but for the hardcore players can go up to tier xx, problem solved

game isn't hard, it's time consuming, that's it...what you are asking is that they make it so simple that you can spend less time playing it, sure you might make some alts and play more initially but later you'll have done it all and nothing will hold your interest.

People like myself are sick of garbage drops. we don't want the D3 auction house experience. 99% of the loot is meaningless junk, literally not worth the time to pick up. the game is playing exactly like D3 with an auction house. The best upgrades are easily obtained by trade.

Playing with and giving items to your friends is very different then building 3rd parts apps and web sights to facilitate trade effectively building an AH into a game that's wasn't designed for it, forcing GGG to lower drop rates and preserve the rarity of the best items. That's why we asked for a SSF so drop rates could be boosted and not trivialize loot.

Multiple people in this thread talk about how easy the game is... IMO are utilizing trade, getting exactly what they need crushing content. copy past... drop rates are set accordingly. this destroys my ability to progress past T14 for one reason only, because i refuse to trade.

I don't want the game easier... i want it accessible. Trade is a short cut that's really bad for the long term health of the game.

I don't want D3 but that's what I'm playing and it feels like hard mode. after 9 year I'm ready to move on and taking my wallet with me.

Im not checking stuff like this, Im just playing the game.

My starter build was an Arma Brand Ignite Elementalist and I stopped investing into this build day3. Its purpose was to unlock the atlas and it could handle T16 maps easily at fairly high pace, thats all I was asking for.

I still played the build for about a week to farm up currency and make a decision which build Im going to play next.


My second build was a Chains of Command Occultist. Never played that build before and it looked interesting/promising enough.

I reached some 5-7 mill sustained dps day2, which is good enough to kill everything except the toughest Maven invitations on a 4ex budget I think.
On day3 I invested some 10ex more and pushed to 12-15 mill sustained dps, which was enough to clear everything although it was bumpy in some instances.
Finally I dropped 60ex into this day5 or day6 because I could not because I felt the need to do it and I think Im sitting at about 20-25 mill sustained dps now.
Im not entirely sure about my dps because PoB cant calculate it properly and I cant figure out how to fake it.

This is pretty much where I stopped investing. It just didnt make a whole lot sense. The sustained dps arent super impressive but high enough to handle everything. Bosses are a joke and basically dont exist, mapping is fast enough and I can handle all Maven invitations as long as I do pay attention.
So its not quite effortless but I dont want to invest more than I already did.

The build is good enough and only fails if I dont pay attention, screw up or do stupid stuff. Im really good at all those things I just mentioned but thats hardly the builds fault and no investment in the world is going to fix my own stupidity.

+1 items are shit .. farming like 50+ tier 16 maps only picking up currency hidding 99.99999999% of items.

too much RNG makes even crafting like harvest take ages to make anything decent..

The most accurate number I can give you was back in Ritual league.
That time around I check because I wanted to know how broken Harvest was and I reached 50 mill dps in 40hrs farming Haewark Hamlet.
Add some 8hrs leveling the character from scratch to the point I could farm T11s and T12s and start spamming Haewark.

Did you use Trade in any way or was it all SSF?
I suspect trade. I concede its possible to do this SSF but if trade was used then that proves the point of this topic.

Orbaal was talking about Harvest during Harvest/Ritual leagues, and yes, it was that broken. I think I quit in the first week of Harvest because I used the item editor to craft like a 900 pdps axe before getting to red maps and the entire game's progression was krangled. You still see people crying about BRING BACK HARVEST regularly, like they're honestly in denial about how badly an item editor absolutely trivializes the entire game.

And that's true in SSF as well as trade leagues.

harvest never was an item editor,but it was very deterministic and by far the most powerfull way too craft

it was too powerfull especially because of the broken mod tag system
i.e. only 1 crit mod on boots so a 100% chance for tailwind

this was never possible,because you needed a high itemlevel axe for it to be able to roll the mods needed for this
on top of that the harvest seed/craft had to be a high level too
the restriction of ilvl and craft lvl was much stricter during havrvest league

harvest itself wasnt the problem even at full power,trading of the crafts was and still is the problem

trading still make poe easy,harvest didint change this at all

you are probably aware of this,so stop with these Übertreibung

I had a Tabula, Lioneys Glare bow and Lioneye´s Fall jewel plus some random life/res items ready in my stash to serve as a starting point.

I dont think thats unreasonable and all those 3 items can be target farmed. If I recall correctly I started spamming T11s around lvl80 - give or take. However I had to be able to reach a few things on the tree to make the build funcional.

It doesnt take a whole lot of dmg to clear those maps. Some 200-300k dps will do just fine.
