Abyssal Trove not appearing?

ilvl 84 are from hoard only now

with passive +3 area level , and then the abyssal depths natural +1 , still able to get ilvl 87 jewel

Sometimes the path just deadends, like the other posters say I suspect its when it can't find a path to another location. You can basically tell when it'll happen because you run out of rares and just get the occasional white mob climbing out the hole but it doesn't move at all.

Probably happens like 1/50 though its pretty unusual.

Doing full Abyss here, have the same thing happen dozens of times. Also, Corrupted jewels have been EXTREMELY rare for me, got two drop from like, 100 troves or more.
Ive just respect out of it yesterday.

I know item level can be higher if it's dropped in the Depth. How can I make Trove drop item 84? It's a shame that some mods are level 84 like Enemies Maimed by you take increased damage over time.

This problem definitely happens more often than 1/50. It happened twice in the same map last night.

I have got quite a few corrupted jewels but most are just trashy. I respec out of equipment with abyssal jewel socket. I was hoping to get a few that are very good but all very trashy so far.

Foe one, you can't make a 6 link with an eye socket. :(

I've been seeing the same thing. I specced my tree into abyss, and am running maps with abyss scarabs. I would say 1 in 7 or so won't open. I'm looking at one right now. I followed right after it, killing everything that came out. After the final stop, the big thorn things pop out of the ground but there isn't a trove or a depth.

Also, abyssal depths seem to be incredibly rare, even with the Awakened Depths passive. In fact, since I've specced into that I haven't seen a single depths open. Definitely not worth speccing into; I will be dropping all abyss nodes once I use up my scarabs.

This is still happening in 3.18.
I spec'd into abyss last league and this league and the last 5 troves just fizzle out. Happened in sewers, dunes, glacial. It doesn't seem like it's the map. It keeps dying out after moving two times.
