Graz man. About 97-98 I start feeling the drag of mapping for mapping sake and quit a toon. Plus, I like the thrill of double beyond and deli w/o HH because I still have never found one SSF.:( Anyways I die way too much with maps I like to run to ever make 100. It's hard to make 98. Only done it like 3-4 times.

T16 + Deadly Nightmare node on atlas tree (+2 unique map level).

It took about 130 maps from 99-100.

Been playing since 2013, also finally made it to 100 this year, it made me realize how few your options to get there are, so I applaud other people who made it, because it takes dedication.

95-98 is fairly smooth, maps, delve, etc w.e. you wanna do.
Once you're 98 you hit a wall, i challenge anyone to goto 100 on just maps, I tried a bunch of different ways, and heres what I found

Maps: extreamly slow, very cheap, unpredictably dangerous, GL
Breachstone: fast, but extremely expensive, fairly safe, can be solo'd
Poorjoy: fairly fast, decent prices for rotas, but dangerous, you're gonna want a group/aurabot
Didnt do enough coward trial/legions to have an opinion.

There is literally only one way for a newer/poor player without a solid group to solo his way to 100

Beachhead: very slow, pretty cheap though, extremely safe, will take a while.

The Beachhead is predictable, reliable, packed, and cheap to trade for maps/harbinger orbs.

Took like +130? about 6% xp in under 2 hours at 12-17 mill per hour its a long long repetitive grind I wouldnt wish on anyway who values their sanity.

TLDR: The death penalty is going nowhere, if you're rich and dedicated, you will make it fast with Breachstones, if you're poor and dedicated, just go Beachhead, its the only truly safe non rippy option, about the only thing that might kill you is not noticing lightning golems explode on you. (yes, even beachhead can kill you )

Either way, if you are truly dedicated to make it to 100, you will find a way.

Did that in Blight League - my first and last level 100 character. No rotas, no breachstones - just me, my maps and my blighted maps. Solid build, didn't really need to go easy on the map mods either. Fun build, too - so I reach 98,5 just by having fun. The last 1,5 was pretty awful, though - that's why it will be my first and last level 100. Just don't see the point anymore, once that milestone was reached.

Did that back in Delerium. Just Me, my maps and my cheap version of herald stacker. I was pretty quick and it was ton of fun. Broken build, you know :D
