another person who got same problems

Again Path of Exile is a trojan.
Sure, multi million company is trying to snatch your nudes.
Get real, MWB used to be solid, nowadays you try and install a fresh copy and first thing you will see is adverts left and right, premium super premium mega ultra premium versions and whatever else, pick whichever you want, it will offer you to install multiple search bars for browser and whatever else horse crap it can stuff into installation without bloating it too much.

It's a false positive at best, phishing or scamming at worst.

Tbh all you need is a bitdefender, it's built in and has no need to scam you, and for it false positives are actually false positives instead of a chance to cause panic in people who don't know better, because they already have your money from OS it self.

Anyone, and i do mean anyone who even considers that GGG or any other long lasting established company distributing it's product across the globe, is attempting to mess up your PC by giving it the sniffles, especially ONLY in certain regions, is either a troll or lacks any clue what they are on about.

Get rid of that bs, and either roll back the version and just keep the DB updated, or try your luck with another condom software, cuz Malwarebytes sure as hell is not what it used to be.

No rest for the wicked.
@Daiena is spot on here and nothing for GGG to "react" to.

It's not a "professionel" tool like Trend Micro, Cybereason, Cylance, MCaFee, Norton and so on.
You would know this is you were in the "business" doing this for big companies, goverments, critical infrastructure systems, financial institutes and so on.

went to the other help section, where ggg people actually respond, and asked for comment to this issue. they deleted the post within minutes, no reply. not sure what we can infer from that but here's some guesses:

-they just dont care
-they dont know whats going on because they dont read their forums
-they dont know whats going on because they just dont understand it
-they are working on it but dont have anything to say yet
-its nothing but because of their past history of malware issues theyd rather not draw attention to this
-its bad and they cant talk about it until the legal department crafts an official message

i mean either way when two major international anti-malware companies flags one of your servers, and maintain the position after reviews, and your company cant so much as muster a few sentences in response it stinks of either a actual problem or, ya know... amateur hour

/shrug

The server in question is NOT a GGG server. There is NO malware or anything otherwise nasty on it. Period. Stop spreading FUD please.

malwarebytes has government contracts.

Lots of entities have "government contracts", but that does not mean that they are any good, or that they know what they are doing. Apart from ripping off taxpayers.

Look mate, it IS a false positive, virtually no one else is reporting on this.

As for launching through steam, you are using steam login servers, before it puts you though to the game servers, if you want to bring that to anyone attention then it would be steam.

But really at the end of the day, an update from malwarebytes will fix this sooner rather than later.

Stop spamming the freaking forums. You can bump a post ONCE per 24 hours.

I have reported it to the MOD team, then they will have to sort it out....

oh, and another vendor just flagged the ip. up to seven now.

Well still not a GGG IP. My theory is that it's used by steam to communicated with GGG's system so you really should report it to steam.....
