It means that AoE is a bit less AoE but also a bit more like AoE.

dont worry OP you're not alone. ive said many times before there was no need to make big changes to the game every single league (im actually amazed how they can add new content every 3 months).. yet also finding it ridiculous to so, so much work and effort to have their changes that push people away (at least last few leagues)

ritual changes were sensible. after that, no.

anyway ill assume you're struggling with the game, and now with patch notes, and you're really not alone. anyway its really the same ol' atlas just put together into one so that you can play different maps. only thing is, people will only spam their favorite maps, probably map in singular tense.

apart from that, at least they did slow down on gem/char changes.

there are more negative changes like act1/act2 -- making them harder. it's below insensible for me. i mean ill still easily clear act1/act2, just like many others. but over 80% of friends introduced to this game struggled and didn't want to continue. "too complicated for my little mind" one said.

thats also 80% of lost potential revenue. its sensible to make act1/2 easier in fact and progressively difficult.

maps should be more difficult. but no, better get it the wrong way round.
