PLEASE MAKE THE ATLAS TREE UNIQUE FOR EVERY CHAR

what this amounts to tho is that you can basically have all the passives, just not at once. even if you just have 1 character you play you can still boost more to maps and just have them open maps for your main character.

surely the point is to make choices, you cant have everything, you get to pick the ones that mean most to you. if you can just get all of them across a range of characters whats the point?

you take none of the bossing nodes, and then when you want to run bosses you have a char that opens guardian type maps for you with all those nodes selected? so you get all those nodes on a tree without needing to spec any master mission type mapping juice stuff, but then you have your normal tree where you get all the map juice but dont need any boss stuff cause this alt opens those maps when u need them opened?

i would like it per character, sort of, but its just abusable and youd be an idiot not to abuse it and abusing it would be actually quite tiresome and silly.

if you want to have good bossing stuff and good mapping stuff and profit from both those activities then youre gonna need to make a trade off and have some of the boss stuff and some of the map stuff.

It's only 2 regret orbs per respec point. If you can't afford that, your builds aren't optimized nearly as well as you think they are and you honestly shouldn't bother.

Have you seen the livestream? Cuz the cost isnt regrets mate

And its a lot time consuming as well...

How is rerolling one tree to another consuming but creating new one on secondary characters not consuming?
And yes the cost is 2regrers orbs because you can buy orb of unmaking for 2regrets

Mate... I change chars and playstyles like 4 times a day!!
If each char has its own tree it will consume time but only once

!!!
Per character would have problems in that one could open a map with one character and then switch to another character to enter the map.

Also, and I feel this is a point worth repeating:

You would have to complete your entire Atlas again on every single character if GGG let them have their own passive trees. Re-do all of your map completions and awakening bonuses/kirac stuff, re-unlock all your favored slots, re-do all of your Maven progression... EVERYTHING in the entire Atlas would have to be completely reset for every single character.

This is just a terrible idea, and I don't understand why people would even ask for it.

Umm no you wouldn't. They could clearly make it so that it keeps the furthest progression you have had. So if you have 100 points on main character you get 100 points on alt once it has gone through act 10. They have to make this an option or they need to allow more than 1 stored atlas skill tree with a small fee to swap between them.

I never know how long I will play each day. One day I might have 30 minutes another I might have 10 hours. The playstyle I pick for those days is extremely different. There is no way I want to spend 30 minutes and a lot of resources to respec just for that session. It is completely reasonable to ask for a feature to quickly swap atlas skill tree specialization.

I guess I assumed it went without saying that GGG would balance the system to protect it from obvious broken exploits, but sure, if we want to be pedantic I guess the option always exists that GGG will give us unlimited respec points for no reason other than to ensure that nobody ever has to make a decision.

There's a point where the training wheels have to come off if you want to enjoy the ride, guys...
Considering my "plans" for next league, it would be nice to have some 2-3 presets based on character.

My starter won't be able to do shit with Legion, but eventually I will want to have some speedy char with chain to get access for 5way, but still continue playing the first char.

And I don't want to play 2 leagues :D

Make a second account, level your alt there. You can trade with yourself to solve stash issues.

thats the same for all of us. theyre not asking you to respec depending on what ur doing, theyre asking you to pick what matters most to you and put points into enhancing that content. the whole point of picking some bits and not others is that you dont have the bits you didnt pick.

youre not specialised in something if you can be specialised in everything and just swap between them at will. thats not specialisation, thats just having all the buffs. you can still do all the content, you just cant boost the rewards from all of it, you have to make a choice.

true but that is also true for multiplayer, and there we dont say that is an problem, to give each char his own tree would help brige the power difference between solo and multiplayer.
