Let's see some financial statements.
Lately, it seems GGG has done a great job to hide the latest annual report after the last two were brought to light, so let's see some finances, since there's been discussions about a lot of things, but not so much about player spending.
The last financial statement https://app.companiesoffice.govt.nz/companies/app/service/services/documents/C1C22EAA76EA616D25B68F1B1B8A385E As you can see it's been three months and no statement for the year of 2020-2021, and I don't need to tell you why that's the case. I don't think we will ever see another annual statement from this company. So, since that won't be happening the best thing to do is directly discuss with the community their past, current and upcoming spending decisions related to this product. I don't care the reason behind your spending decisions, since that's not the thread purpose, but you're welcome to post it anyways. I'll start with mine... Year I start playing PoE? 2013 Total $ spent on PoE? $50 Total $ spent on PoE related streamers (content creators)? $0 Last time spent $ on PoE and how much? $10, end of November 2020 Look forward to spend more in the foreseeable future, and if so how much? 75% chance I'll be purchasing my first 3.17 $60 or $90-100 supporter pack, because despite of everything I still want to give credit where it's due knowing what else has been out there or I should say not. Also I'm optimistic the MTX that 3.17 will offer can't be worse than the recent core ones or what I saw in 3.16 (in my opinion, of course). They cannot legally "hide" their financials. They can delay reporting if they wish, many companies do, but before the end of Q1 2022 we will see these numbers published.

I wish people would do a bit more research before posting online.

The big clue in when to expect the report is in the word annual. As you can see from your own link, the last ANNUAL report was signed off in February 2021. All things being equal, the next ANNUAL report should be expected to be filed around the February 2022.
Last time I checked it is currently the first week in January, so even by the standard of these forums it is a little early to be making accusations. Last edited by blindedbylight#6094 on Jan 5, 2022, 9:56:38 PM

" They have no obligation to disclose their financials to the public as a private company. That being said, annual report do take longer to prepare given all the year-end adjustments/audit etc. There are no words to sway those who will not listen. -- Veritania, the Redeemer

" They are not a private company, and that is not NZ law, including required 3rd party audits. So yes, they in fact are, obligated, and the financials will be available to the public in NZ just like last year. " im pretty sure they are a private company. the only reason why we even see financial disclosures, im assuming, is because they are obligated to disclose them to tencent, who then is a public company and therefore have to disclose their child company's finances |
