All I wrote is that sample size ist kind of too small to draw some conclusions. No reason to become insulting @Shagsbeard

" well, seeing as you cut out the first half of my post, ill reiterate: he spent 80c to make 200c. this part is, eh, its profit and its fine for people that are low on currency. the problem comes when you look at TIME invested. Taking 90 minutes to run 7 maps is where the return on investment TANKS. a level 95 TR champ, with a QotF, 35% ms boots, and a damn maraketh bow (10%ms), should be able to do mao kun in like, 3-5 minutes. what probably took so long, is picking up all the currency that wasnt chaos/divines/exalt. which is why higher filters hide that crap. jewelers orbs are 25 per chaos right now. thats worse than picking up 1 chaos shard. Fuses are a laughable 7:1. transmutes and augments are always worthless. alchs are 9:1. had he just ignored all of this, he could have probably done twice as many maps in the same timeframe, and made another 120c. instead all the small currency he picked up, would be lucky to be worth 10c. " Sorry, but you're the one posting "this is worthless because of 7". That needs correcting. |

Mao Kun is really bad to run even if the maps were free. Equal/less return than a normal map and it takes 3x as long. And if you happen to miss a single mob somewhere and you have to run across the map again to get the last chest it's infuriating.

" In this case when it comes to estimating the system distribution parameters for drops it will mean worse confidence intervals. I think that is what Zottelfisch was referring to. Also low sample size means less power to detect effects. Heart of Purity
