i think General Gravicius is a lot overpowered for act 3 and player lvl at that point the only thing i can think of is hanging around and try to lvl up and find more gears then return to him maybe after a month lol

you're also the poster that isnt sure how support gems work. its more likely that, because this is your first character, you are rather underpowered compared to people that have been playing a while and know how the skill gem system works.

so it may feel, to you, that this boss is overtuned. but once you get some more experience with the game (and ask questions), youll find he's not actually that bad.

It's true he's a bit of a difficulty bump from previous stuff. His aoe fire crap is nasty if you have no form of self healing.

Not that that's a problem necessarily though.

Fire resistance is your friend, and don't stand in the fire.

what about scourge and standard and hardcore leagues are they game difficulty ? i don't understand what they are thanks for help

As far as leagues go...
Standard is a permanent league. It is full of VERY wealthy characters and legacy OP gear. It has a messed up economy.

Hardcore is a permanent league, but if your character dies, it gets moved to Standard.

Scourge Softcore is a temporary league. Temp leagues last 3 months, then get migrated to standard. Scourge will end in January. Temp leagues also have a special mechanic, in this case Scourge....you kill mobs, building up points, then pushing a button to take you into an alternate reality to kill more mobs.
Lots of corruption of stuff.

Scourge Hardcore is the Hardcore version of Scourge Softcore. Same as Scourge Softcore except if your character dies, it is moved to Standard.

All leagues also have a Solo Self Found (SSF) version.
In SSF you cannot party or trade, you must find or craft all your gear.


My recommendation for new players is always play in the softcore temp trade league, unless it is ending in a few days.
