PLEASE make Endless Delve a Core leveling option
i would play SO much more POE if it was the case..... Or even Endless Heist to level 68. Playing this event really shows just how disgusting being forced to level alts in the campaign feels. i am the type of person who only plays 1 character per league most times because once ive played 3 weeks on my main and think i MAY want another type, i get like 10 levels in and quit because i just cant stomach the damn campaign....

I actually find delve quite boring for endgame, but its actually really smooth for levelling. I'm literally just playing the event so I can quickly try out different builds without the painful process of going through the campaign. |

Even assuming it did, they would seriously nerf it. So, the usual excuse for wanting different levelling is because it is boring doing the same content all the time. Your typical answer is to give you something that is even more repetitive so you can spam away at the same thing over and over again instead of doing something over and over again.... Also delve is very rewarding, and is gated behind an entry cost, if this was a core option the rewarding part of it will be severely nerfed, a massive reduction in drops across the board and then making side rooms even more rare and boss rooms even more rare, so what you would end up with is a mindless repetitive grind with little reward. I wouldn't mind paying the sulphite cost if it means I can just level in the mine and get the passive points/respecs from side quests every 10 levels and ascendancies without doing lab. And delve is not rewarding at low depths at all imo. You barely even get fossils before depth 50
I only see this as a way for levelling alts, for the 1st character in a league you'd still have to play through the campaign & unlock all the lab trials, etc. Then you'd have to delve and get your sulphite capacity upto 20-30k so that subsequent characters can be levelled up in the mine. " Ight, fine. I think we'd all be ok with that as long as we're not forced to go talk to X and go fetch Y for NPCs every time we make a new character. I agree that it'd be tricky to balance especially for hardcore since act bosses have some significance. BUT, GGG seems to be removing outdated content/mechanics and I honestly think the 10 Acts are very, very outdated :p |

" They won't romove the 10 acts but they acknowledged that act 5-10 was a rushed job and that's why tehy are doing a new story for PoE 2. But, even with a more refined story, after 6-10 playthroughs, we will be at the same point of not wanting to do it more and the same problem will rise again. Some players want a fast simple way to endgame content that does not take 20h to do... Path of Exile is a Casino for gambling addicts.

I really like the general idea, but I don't think Endless Delve would or could work as a levelling system outside of the SSF form it exists in now. The time it takes to self-find and self-craft gear and get to level 75 in Endless Delve really isn't that much faster than similar progression with the story mode and white maps (and is far more difficult), so it's close enough to balanced. The key is that it HAS to be SSF; it would take less than 30 minutes to be powerlevelled to 75 if you could party up with a guildmate, equip a 7 League Step, and just sprint down tunnels collecting skill points. And this is something I know for a fact because my guild used to do exactly this before they changed Delve to start in Act 4: usually we could get characters from 1-90 in under 3 hours, after which they'd go back and get their labs, skill point quests, etc. It was far faster than doing the acts, but was still somewhat balanced out by the fact that the person being powerlevelled was expected to provide the tens of thousands of sulphite required for the process (as well as own the appropriate levelling gear, which at the time cost several exalts).
If this was done in an "Endless Delve" context where it didn't cost sulphite and the labyrinths were auto-completed? Well, that's pure broken nonsense. Obviously, group play is out of the question here. So, let's assume that GGG decides to allowing players to create "Endless Delve" characters, which by their nature are SSF and locked out of hideouts, until they choose to migrate them to the parent trade league. This system sounds great to me, provided minor tweaks (nerfs) are made to the drop rates of fossils in low level areas. You don't want the most efficient means of fossil farming to be starting new builds and muling them over, after all. And the character would probably have to have their own Delve which was deleted upon migration when the character inherited the Delve of the parent league. Is this too much work to expect from GGG? Probably. But provided the man-hours are available to make the needed balance changes, there's some real potential to this idea.
