The chances are 1 in 6 to hit the influence you want. The rest is just RNG like trixxar pointed out above.



The awakener orb will not transform your item into elder or shaper influenced item, it's an item to merge two influences. You need an item with the influence you wan to merge to start with.

yeah don't waste a woke orb adding shaper to something else, you'll get garbo ESPECIALLY if you're trying to get phys + trap rolls. *jaundiced stare at half a page of Drox flavoured hubris circlets that are no good for Power Siphon*

Keep trying with your base, it will eventually happen. Even if it's 50 ex down the crapper, that's money well spent if as often happens, there's no other hats in trade with the mods you need.
