THE act1 is just too hard for newbie, new comers unfriendly

Just wait, OP. GGG has plans on giving the same treatment for acts 2-4 as explained in an older interview during Expedition league.
The game's hard enough if you're not running a meta build, but now they want to scare away newbies with daunting encounters and juiced up bosses. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! I can see why act 1 can be a nope especially for new players. And it still baffles me, that they decided to revamp it like that. While the latest updates are huge turn offs for many long time players, the new act 1 makes it even less inviting to new players. Its like the perfect recipe to reduce your playerbase and at the same time preventing new players to join. At this point ggg is just delusional.

I'm sad. It seems to me that the gamer mentality has shifted slowly but steadily. There are really only two ways people can react to a challenge. They can either learn and adapt, or they can complain and wish for the challenge to be removed.
It used to be that a challenge is welcome because overcoming that challenge is a good feeling. Gives a sense of accomplishment. But I'm finding more and more nowadays that anything that presents any kind of difficulty is something to whine about. " I guess this is just the culture now. I mean Jesus Christ. Daunting encounter? Lol no. Juiced up bosses? Nah give me the boss I can kill in 2 seconds. This is your average gamer in 2021. |

I completely disaggree. There are tons of games out there just waiting to be played. Why would a newbie settle with poe when it doesnt even offer a proper tutorial as entry point. This is a video game after all.
