I play because i like it more than D3!
POE relieved me of the burden to play Diablo3 although i didnt like it anymore.(typical addict)
Since i downloaded POE i never played D3 again(before i would play every day a bit)
No matter what patches will be released for D3, i'll never touch that piece of junk again.

D3:

There was alteast 2 months without any update to D3 and still not even a PTR ETA for 1.0.8. The dev blogs after JW departure were exactly same shit they were when he was in charge. The 1.0.8 patch brings no new content, just fixes to make multiplayer finally worth playing and monster density up to par with act 3 (currently there is like 1 pack of zombies in 1 minute in act 1. Wtf were they thinking?). 1 years after release. Plus some quality of life improvements like ID all which again had to be in the game from the start, not 1 year later.

Team over 100 devs and multi million budget.

Path of Exile:

You are getting free content updates with new skills, uniques, fixes, features, UI and visual updates, race seasons. Every week.

Indie team about 20 people with a budget solely based on micro transactions and self-funding.
