Did you buy your loot, or farm it?

The rares that drop from mobs are 99% useless and crafting is RNG fiesta, so ofc it's safer and far less frustrating to just buy stuff.
I sometimes throw random essences on two-toned boots, that's pretty much it as far as crafting goes for me, lmao. |

" Most people trade. This game drops extremely crappy loot " Dude....every single one of your posts on this topic is this here, trading is "cheating"....lol Don't you notice the HORRIBLE loot? it's literally because the game is designed with the existence of trading. It's not "cheating", it's how you play the game properly. Go ahead and play SSF, go ahead and enjoy the handicap challenge, but check your facts. " If the game is designed around trade, they have to properly support it. Having various "cheating" discords forums tradesites tools which are not ggg supervised can't be the solution. |

" Nice logic. You're right, PoE is totally not designed around trading. You can go dig up Chris's old posts if you like, I'm not going to do it for you. Bottom line is he thinks the way things are is " engaging"... |

No idea what the purpose of the OP is.
Of course 99% of people playing trade are getting their stuff through trading, because it's easier than dropping/crafting them. 100% of SSF players are gonna say, they didn't. Well, u made a point there, right? PoE2 0.4 Character:

I've been playing this game for over 7 years.
It's always been about buying the gear. Farming currency, and trading for the gear you need. About 2% of the gear I find I end up using, about 10% I sell, and about 85% of it ends up filtering into standard league because I refuse to get rid of it, but never use it. And I trade for about 98% f the gear I use. That's PoE. Always has been. the rare times I get good loot to trade it tends to be my build starters. I get a rare or wanted item, sell it for a decent price and buy the leet gear I want for my perfect build. Once in a blue moon. Farm gear? AHHHhahahahahahaheeeeeeee-wheeze-hahahahaaoooo... you must be thinking of another game. In another universe. in a galaxy far far away. |

I prefer to get all my gear on my own, but I have to resort ever more increasingly to trade to get gear, so that my progression curve isn't boring the hell out of me. Then again, I still get bored before even finishing maps. Usually, the build loses steam and I don't have enough currency to craft or buy items.
This is a problem for all online games that has one standardized progression curve for all players, and a reason why games have different difficulty settings. There is a reason why people constantly say this game is balanced around trade, and it should have been addressed like years ago. |

" Not that that's typical or common. Far from it. |
