Personally, I think intelligence should have increased the attack range instead. This is Gokuu's staff, after all. (Goku, Gokuu, Sun Wukong, Zidane Tribal, ALL the same character). Actually the reference comes from WC III DotA,which has an item called "Monkey King Bar" And the reference from Dota comes from Phantasy Star Online where there is also a Monkey King Bar, Dota borrowed several items from this game (Black King Bar, Sange, Yasha).
