i want to get into this league but the game ends up looking like play dough

The game loads fine but after a few maps is turns into this is there a vram memory leak or something my fps is fine the whole time
I have a gtx 960 2gb

I just want to play the game but when it looks like this it stops loading the particle effects so i cant see most of the effects.

I remember hearing about a setting that controls how long the game holds onto graphics assets but I cant find it/turn it down(I don't mind longer load times I just want to be able to play). I also cant turn my textures from medium to low which would probably help.

I'm poor so I cant get a better graphics card but any other help would be cool ty

With that card, I don't know much else we can do. But that thread may be of help.

I have a gtx 950 2gb vram, and had the same exact problem;

After perusing multiple threads, thanks to Robotica95, I downloaded Windows 472.33 Vulkan Beta Driver at https://developer.nvidia.com/vulkan-driver as I have a better experience with Vulkan over DX11.

Hope this helps you as well.

Perhaps GGG should consider a leadership change.

Does this solve "VRAM critical" issue? If so, thank you, will be trying this out right away.
Can confirm that Vulkan drivers help. I haven't tested for a long period yet, but in about an hour there were no issues with textures, usually I got them after 15 min. Thanks all!

That would be equivelent of downloading more hdd space...
The vram issue is your card is almost running out/has ran out of gpu's vram, meaning you need a gpu with higher amount.
No rest for the wicked.
