It would seem you are dual wielding baguettes, monsieur.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

striking melee leveling is removed!
The difference in levelling for melee vs ranged attack builds really is obscene. And I know it's not exactly groundbreaking to say "melee bad" yadda yadda, but you can actually discuss the merits of utility, damage, etc of melee vs ranged for characters with actual gear that are in maps. I still think ranged has the edge most of the time, but it's at least reasonably close so you can say "I want to play infernal blow because I think it'll be fun" and not feel like the game hates you... once you reach the top end of gearing.

I don't even think there's a comparison to be made when you're talking about playing through the acts, though. The KB Deadeye I started yesterday absolutely blew through the content using lightning arrow - which I had zero passive tree scaling to support beyond generic crit and ele attack nodes - in about a third of the time it took my league starter. Tabula plus 1-alch wand, now I'm good up to T10 maps, even juicing and scourging up to 200+ kranglestacks. It's absurd how much stronger this build is on zero budget than the melee equivalents.

Oh, it's just the way it looked.

That newbie wow streamer that played blind had a pretty easy time with vaal double strike, but that's one of the more usable ones, I suppose. Molten strike is hot garbage, as we say in these parts.

It literary feels like that.
What is it? 10% Physical DR, No Evasion, Slow attack speed.

I leveled perfectly fine with 4-link Frost Blades then Swapped to Wild Strike at 28.

Strike melee has always been harder to play but not all of them are objectively worse.
