I'm here since open beta, and i skipped a bunch of leagues tho. But yeah, diversity is not always whats being played, but whats viable to play. and as of right now due to the support gem nerfs alot of builds simply can't keep up with content unless they slog through hours of itemization.

If the build you want to play is 80 - 100 time more expensive than the meta builds maybe try another one.

I left WoW at that stage. You are describing what most people would attribute to WoW becoming casual af and then moving on to implement things like tokens, paid mounts and boosts etc later. All in the name of casuals and saving their time. Now you put POE on the same lvl as that which is like the opposite lmao.

man i totally get your frustrating, this is exactly why i aint playing this league, to play a build i want and having to spend a stupid amount of time and currency to get it to the meta build power level is just a waste of my limited life. and quite frankly the meta builds ive already played before i dont want to play the same build every league...

The worst part about this game i think is some of the attitudes in the community, like "you shouldnt play if u dont like it" Honestly i tried to introduce this game to my friends and i tell ggg my feed back all i get is "this game is not for your friends". excellent community attitude, only taking money away from GGG not me.

you are absolutely right the developers has lost the plot. I would consider myself a pretty hard core player, and playing awful maps with awful loot is really just a waste of time.

At this point, reading the forums is actually more fun than the game

Eh? That's the best advice anyone can give, especially to people who play this game for many hours every day but clearly hate it. Why on earth do people voluntarily subject themselves to doing something they don't enjoy when there are plenty of other enjoyable things out there to do? Even if all you do all day long is play video games there are plenty of other games out there to enjoy. Constantly subjecting yourself to something you hate is just a recipe to end up being a miserable & bitter human being.
