Kripp wins Race ladder by big margin. WTF HOW?
" The races are quite fun. As long as its not just playing the same game for 2 or 3 hours. Meaning ancestral race, BM race, etc |

Congratulations to Kripp and the rest of the Season One winners. It takes plenty of talent and commitment to finish anywhere near the top of the ladder. Hopefully the new season - and seasons to come - will bring more fun for casual racers. Grinding is tough for many folks, but those who can do it deserve kudos for their perseverance and skill. See you all next season.

" He lives with his parents...... I'm not jealous but at least I do what I enjoy and I haven't lived at home since I was 18. A LOT of money must be different to some people |

If you have a job, good luck getting anywhere near top 40.
If you have a job and a social life, good luck getting anywhere near top 200. If you have a job and a social life and kids, good luck getting anywhere near top 2000. @ShunTzu

" I view Kripp kind of like a really good marathon runner. He doesn't have the world's best sprint speed, but considering the distance he's able to maintain an astonishing pace. Which means: Other people are no doubt able to demonstrate more skill over brief periods of time -- you can just watch an Invelesco video to see that. However, Kripp is good for long, long periods of moderate skill, an activity that gives most of us that staring-at-the-screen, burned-out feeling. It's really more of a stamina thing than a skill thing. His theorycrafting isn't amazing, but it's not piss-poor either. In short, he's that well-rounded character with decent stats in all attributes but nothing that stands out too much, except of course for his ability to commit to the game full-time. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

" He won 43 out of his 63 races. Please explain the highly doubtful part :P GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

" Ditto! I'm terrible, but it's all for fun, so what the hell :) |

I played only one race just to force myself to level a toon lol. Anyways i didnt like the prizes, same uniques which i sell for 1 crhomatic but different artwork i dont like tbh
Also krip will always win because he has no life and all noobs love him and give items (is this allowed in races?) |

" Most of which (generalizing yes) comes from the simple fact that he is getting paid to do so. I'm not saying that I wouldn't get bored, even if I was getting paid (I probably would), but to say that he is the most skilled player (to me) is just incorrect. There are FAR better theory-crafters, racers, and more people with general knowledge about the game's mechanics than him. One only need to look at how he fairly recently realized how to roll maps. He joined somewhere around the same time as me if I'm not mistaken, but took several months longer to figure out map rolling. <--- Which was one of his biggest issues in week long races, failing to maintain map drops. And yes, congrats Kripp. Last edited by SL4Y3R#7487 on Apr 7, 2013, 4:33:37 PM
