Kirac Quest Bug

I never received the quest after Act 10 Kitava from Kirac to acquire a map device, and I can't talk to him in Oriath to get the quest or put him in my hideout. I can do maps but can't open my atlas.

Same issue here. It started me with Chasing a Dream instead of having me run through Kirac's questline first.

I do not recall if this was the case in the past, but my map device appeared in my hideout from the beginning of my first character in the Scourge league. I also already used the map device to complete an Alva temple run before completing the game, so something with using the map early maybe messed things up.

My 2nd screenshot shows that I am unable to use Kirac or the map device in my hideout yet due to not finishing that first quest, however you can see the device in my hideout already.

** Workaround **

I found another thread that mentioned they could still view Kirac in the Templar Laboratory ( https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3190532 ). It sounds like just doing that fixed the quest for them, but not me.

However, I was able to run through the entire Kirac quest even though it never showed in by quest list or map. There are 3 nodes that will appear from the center of Oriath, 1) to the east, 2) to the southest, then 3) to the west side of Oriath.

After going to those nodes as they appear and completing the steps Kirac tells you to, he will meet you in the hideout. After completing the 3 invisible steps of the quest and then going my hideout I did see Kirac there, get the map reward for the quest, and I can now see my Atlas. I am assuming this got everything back in sync as my decorations window also shows Kirac and the map device as usable where previously they were blocked out with a message saying they were un-usable until finishing Kirac's quest.
