VRAM goes to Critical after ~1hr of gameplay and textures get very blurry.

VRAM keeps increasing during gameplay and it never goes down, probably a leak of some sort, if i keep playing without restarting the client the game eventually crashes.

I have also experienced this same issue.

I have the same issue, it is annoying to restart the game from time to time, but at least it is a workaround.

My current setup:
Ryzen 5 5600X
32GB RAM
GTX 960 2GB
Ubuntu 21.04, using Steam+Proton (default settings here)
Newest Nvidia nonfree drivers installed (provided by ubuntu)

UI Settings:
lowest possible
vulkan rendering
I have the same issue.
VRAM runs full after a couple of zones and the game becomes unplayable.

Same issue here :(
I have the same issue. Is there a solution to this?
try setting texture to MEDIUM.
Same problem. Already tried:
- set textures to medium

It also seems the game does not recognize other programs using vram either. i.e. When I alt-tab to a hardware accelerated browser (chrome), I also get the blurry and missing textures.

Vulkan only. Switching back to DirectX and it works fine again.

For some reason POE only uses around 3/4 of my Vram (2GB card) before textures get blurry.
Is that normal?

I tried other games and they fill up my Vram just fine, also i cant play on DX11 because the game runs 10times worse.

I aslo tried older GPU drivers, no use.

It's been doing this for months, only thing is that we started to understand "when" after they improved the latency stats window a while back.

I have multiple PC's and none of them are immune to this bug.

Please consider using towns as a memory "dump" function (not just vendor trash and various RMT bot's hangout, lol)

If we also unloaded the memory in hideouts ( think of dying in a map only to unload the area when you port back in, yikes...) it would be a nightmare, but please give us some kind of feature to self-help with this issue.

( no I don't mean closing the game or being forced to, when it crashes every 1-2 hours by filling up VRAM by itself )

Appreciate you putting work in where it is needed to keep us playing.
