An easy fix to the Standard League Market Inflation.

No? All the good uniques but the really crazy high end stuff are cheaper in standard. Yesterday i dropped a cospri's malice, was excited to make a good sell , turned out i can't even charge 30 for it.

What is overpriced in standard is endgame rares below mirror tier, stuff that would cost 10-20 to 50ex in league is 200-400 ex in standard. As for mirror tier no idea, waaaay beyond my capabilities.

There's a reason for that... I probably have 5-10 of those stashed in Standard, most of them (apart from 2) from random drops over the years...

That's a casual player... Now imagine how many are present in total...

Good to see some people so understand what I proposed, the problem, and the solution needed to be applied.

If STD actually receive a decent amount of DEV time, it would be way better place, and the game would have way bigger player base, cause there is plenty of people that don't like to start all over, and their progress to go to the wind."

It makes sense to those that understand economics.

Your statement actually makes no sense, it is economically backwards.

If most players have tons of currency, why are they selling cheap items for extremely high prices? An over supply of items and low demand for them pushes prices down, to throw away prices.

But that is not was is happening.

You can go to your premium stash that is remove only from previous leagues, and set the price to 50C each for all the junk inside.

This is what is happening, otherwise there would not be stupidly high prices for cheap items in standard. Players had to go in and set those prices for them to be so high.

Don't count on it. They totally push me away from the game. I stop playing the moment i read the 3.16 patch notes.
I was returning player from Delve/Betrayal, but i played like full month or so and was hoping to continue in STD, but GGG totally gutted my build.

If you wanna really focus on a specific character and to have a constant character progress, POE is not your game tho. :D

The game is focused, and all the devs time goes on to reroll every few months or so. Big leap and changes, that will totally kill builds, and if you like to play specific builds, this ain't the game for you.

If you like to constantly reroll and play new builds, and you are no-lifer, this is the game for you.

POE have great positives, but it's have it's negatives as well.

TLDR let's wipe items on the permanent league

OP Have you even read what you have written?

You did not read what I posted.

"GGG should implement a market wipe for standard league every 60 days"

Wipe the market means the posted trades. No where does it say delete items.

I don't think you do... You make your arguments as if Standard was not completely drenched in currency, but it is...

When you're rich, you don't go out of your way to make £10... In fact, you don't even consider it unless you got absolutely nothing else to do.

That is what happens in standard. People are obscenely rich, so don't care most of the time when a buy request comes in.

It's what I'd do most of the time if playing Standard... Put my desirable items up for sale at high prices, then IF a buy request comes in when I'm idle, THEN I might (or might not) answer it.
Hell... it's what I do in the leagues too...

The word is 'opportunity cost'...
Standard is literally and intentionally the dumping grounds of PoE. GGG won’t lift a finger to change something that is working as intended. There is nothing broken to fix, you are just trying to make it something it is not.

Yes. My point was there is a lot of good stuff that is easy to buy in standard. Also i call bullshit on not being able to do small trades in standard - i have 30+ tabs filled with 2-10c items and i am constantly selling and refilling them. Hell, i often turn down people wanting to buy 1 alch items left over in a remove only tab from 2 leagues ago.

However please note that there are peak hours - i live in Bulgaria and each evening from like 7-8 pm to 0.00 am people are constantly whispering. If i log during the day not so much - that seems strange as there are supposed to be players worldwide but thats whats been the case for me.
Sorry but all this sounds like a really bad idea to me.
