why stupid? it's been 3 hours watching people share their finished trials for a "2c thank you" tip on global 820 to get the missing 3 trials after you ran some maps.

it's a multiplayer game and people not multiplaying aren't playing the game which was intended for them, except maybe harvest where ggg had some blackout or designers had a party before the final design meeting, it's designed for people sharing everyting.

Which is the same reason I stated for when playing single player. So now you established it was also stupid in multi player with sharing on global 820. Thanks.

yes, it's been stupid in multiplayer, and really challenging in ssf.

the obvious solution would have been to bind the different trial types to certain maps and make their completion dependent if you got the offering and not just clicking on the plate at the end of the trial.

The real question is, will a SINGLE person finish a SINGLE piercing truth now? Because unless offerings are 10c or something (which I don't see happening) there's just no way people are going to put up with the Floor Spikes of Eternal Inconvenience.

Enjoy it while it lasts, I genuinely expect this change to be rolled back in 3.17 because the folks who designed less popular trial gauntlets are sad.

I think it is a good change, though (because of the RNG that was there, not because of the trap gameplay).

Yes, that is why I mentioned a couple of times in the opening post that some like the trap gauntlet gameplay and some don't. It is a different kind of gameplay from ARPG gameplay.

It doesn't really matter whether or not you believe many players don't like the trap gauntlet gameplay. What is important is that GGG realizes it.
