Dual wield vs 1h and shield

Pros of dual-wielding that people seem to be forgetting:

-The block chance and slight increased attack speed you get for dual wielding.

-Double the number of weapons-relevant modifiers like % Physical Damage.

-Adding damage to skills which use both weapons adds the damage to EACH weapon (so you get double the extra damage you would get with one weapon).
I think with the increase aspd crits are more likely to occur, during e certain period of time that is. Which means extra crit chance is more usefull.

I might be wrong though..

While that is generally true the +15% AS only really equates to a minor increase in crits/second

Sompare to the nearly double damage/hit offered by 2H over 1H.

Dua wielding isn't a complete loss, 15% base block and +15% AS heps mitigate the weaknesses but it doesn't have enough SKILL support.
