Anyone Else Just Want To Play Some POE?

Dude, I can just sit down and play those old-ass choose your adventure books and still have fun. There are so many things to do and try

Playing Dota 1 to Dota 2 for my whole life and get boring to Dota 2, hooked to POE.

After this patch (3.15) and In the early league, I just lost around 5ex (my mistake not a double-checking 6L item on trade window from someone) I decided to stop/skip this league (I'm so tired of collecting currency from scratch again)!

And then I Play Dota 2 again, and for me, Dota 2 is more fun and challenging at the moment! And my friend mostly plays DotA 2 and stopped playing POE a long time ago.

Try playing dota 2 if you have never tried before. And try to learn the mechanics and feel the balance of the game. And don't forget about diablo 2 resurrected :) released this year!

I'm not re-installing POE cuz the current state of the game is annoying to play, but I really want to build out a char and clear the league content.

POE seems to be the only game that can get any real time investment out of me. Anyone else like this?

Yeah... With you on that. Miss my PoE, but can't stand what it is at the moment. Bought D3 and been playing that. It's not bad, but it's not PoE either. Hope GGG unfuck the game and take it back to how it was 2018-2020 . These last 3 expansion changes ruined it.

I'm not playing because this league isn't just a few nerfs , it's the beginning of a rework, and I'm just not motivated to be a play tester while they fix their screw up. I didn't do this. I played the game and payed what I felt was fair for the fun I had. Going backward to go forward isn't my idea of fun , and I am having a hard time reconciling whether they are capable of fixing this without it happening again. I mean , the only gauge anyone has as to the competency of a company is past performance.

I mean ok , so lets say I decide to be a trouper and and stick it out. Fully support the changes and try and find some fun with it. (no doubt I could find Some fun in the game) Why should I do that when after all is said and done , and if I grow to really enjoy the changes (like I have in the past) , they will just get themselves in another mess and the process starts all over again.

Some folks find roller-coasters fun as hell, Personally they nauseate me and I wouldn't pay anything for a ride on one. Oh well. c'est la vie I guess. Will be fun to watch though.

I have a regular rotation of games I play. In this priority order.

1. Fallout 4 - modded to the gills.
2. Terraria - mastermode hardcore.
3. Divinity OS2 - tactician hardcore.
4. Path of Exile - 2-3 weeks of every league or however long it takes to get 90 SSF HC.

If one doesn't make me happy I just go play another. Easy. I'm still in PoE so it must be doing something right.

the biggest reason i dont play much standard is if you invest time into a char you enjoy it may be nerfed into uselessness the next league

anyone investing in archmage, spellslinger or anything like that just had their chars nullified

this is the thing that i hate the most about the game

There is standard that gets league content on 3 months delay usualy if thats your problem here.

Oh except they keep gutting standard investment too, Hey spent months and hundreds of exalts perfecting your build ? PSYCHE ! nerfs across the board, spent mirrors buying voices and balancing your reservations perfectly PSYCHE ! mana nerf, spent hundreds of hours over many leagues collecting pieces of gear to perfect your meme build ? PSYCHE all damage nerfed by 40-70% your build is trash delete it.

What happened to GGG saying that standard is there for people who want constant progress. They take it all away anyway. Nowhere is safe from their nerf hammer, not even the player retention.

Hey today a LOL player with a million followers just told them that POE sucks right now and is goign to be a dead game if they dont change, thats good PR right ?

Hes the number 1 chieften by exp in the league right now.

Interesting, well, let's hope GGG devs can come to their senses and revert some of these more atrocious nerfs and start actually making New Content more challenging instead, there should be layers of ideas for that yet, shoudln't there be?

Maybe.. Kind of sick of both constantly having to fix or just straight discard characters in standard and the constant fiddling and ruining of years of work, the amount of build and items of mine that GGG has either made useless or irrelevant is beyond frustrating.
