GGG stock is not on the market. It is a subsidiary of Tencent. Tencent stock can be bought, but I don't think that either Tencent or the CCP would allow majority ownership to pass out of their control. Owning Tencent would give one control over all their assets currently worth about $200 billion. Just take a look at their margins. Purchasing this game from tencent would cost hundreds of millions. They would need not only their initial investment back , but several years of projected profit to boot, and that is only if they feel they can't increase it. As long as the game is growing and making it's margins they wont sell it. They are not looking to cash out on it like Chis and company did. I think a far more likely scenario is a Private server pops up. Here is to hoping someone that knows stuff about this kind of thing can create one. With the way things are going with Tencent right now and online games, we might see something like this possible. Just found this video on youtube about Tencent limiting playtime for anybody under 18 because online games are being considered as opium for the mind.
