Well if someone can get very lucky, then others can get very unlucky.

Here's an interesting question for everyone.

If players appear to naturally drop only a handful of exalts, but players are also expected to grind their way into gear that costs dozens and dozens of exalts in order to earn the right to overcome the end game, where do those exalts come from?

Is the game merely a giant pyramid scheme?

Yeah I think by definition, probabilities like this are a zero sum game. In order to even out the 4k+ fusings people, some people have to get a 6 link in 2 fusings to balance it out.

exalts are not that uncommon tbh, I usually get around 5 natural drops per day ~6hours playtime, then you can add harbingers and league mechanics which drop them rather plentiful in comparison.

The other thing is that exalts have gotten less valuable in a consumable sense since betrayal and harvest, as you can just slam/veil instead of xalting or get augment options in harvest.

This heavily decreases the exalt-sink in the league, which by now is almost exclusively multimodding or pre/suf cannot be changed used in crafting End game items.

And you clear maps in a fast pace, then you will get quite a few drops


This is the drop from 1 MT treasure which I forgot to seal after not proccing on tower. apparently there was a harbinger somewhere inside that mess as well



Valdo farming in ultimatum netted you about 1-3 raw exalts per map and a ton of simulacrum splinters/cjwls when enchanted with a mirror
