Are streamers using cocaine?

I don't think so. They'd have to be sober to be able to stream like that for months and years. The euphoria brought about by cocaine fades within the hour. Amphetamines would also only give a temporary boost.
The effects of cocaine only last 20-30 minutes, streamers would be ripping rails nonstop. True gamers take adderall which is basically legal meth.
Honestly I think most Gamers who is streaming on regular basis is not using Cocaine and/or Amphetamin. But I HAVE seen and heard about those who have done so, over a certain amount of time, yes. But those usually doesn´t last for a very long time.
Drugs like that certainly takes it´s toll on you. Big time.

You are more likely to see Streamers smoking their weed, while blowing it straight into cam, up your face. And that is totally ok and legal. Nothing wrong in doing that on cam and live, on Twitch. Perfectly normal.
But if you are outside, go hide, and puff up some weed, in fresh air, you get police breathing up your nexk.

They look dead inside (but playing great). I recall Raiz being called out after a 2 day stream.

It's a face that says 'Welp, we got exactly what we asked for. Now we have to pretend to like it'.
"Methylphenidat"

is what they often use and not stupid cocain or caffeine.

At one point you have to get burned out. I bet most of them are forcing themselves to play.

This is why I do not want to do anything with game streaming. When the game, which is supposed to be fun, becomes a job, you end up hating it.

hmmm... there are variety streamers...? hello?

Yeah but most aren't, to be a variety streamer you have to have enough people in the tumble drier that they will come and pepeclap whatever you are playing.

Most cover a game and get their views from people who want to be involved with that game i'm sure PoE streamers would do fine with other arpgs within reason but if they all go and stream CoD it aint gonna work.

err.... there are other games besides argps and cod? hello?

They're all just young, privileged kids with fast twitch reflexes and good marketing analytics skills/friends with nerds who crunch the numbers for them.

Doubt there's actual amphetamines involved. Of course, I could be wrong. MLB baseball has lost any real interest for me in the years and years of following star athletes from draft pick to rookie to All-Star to rehab or massive juicing scandal. It's pervasive and institutionally entrenched.

I would not be surprised really but I don't think it's gotten to that point with PoE. Not enough money or status to make the psychological and legal risks worth it. Maybe in some other MLG specialty like Starcraft II or COD where APS is orders of magnitude higher than it is for even PoE 1.15
