Cannot proceed with the lost expedition quest

can't click on it or do nothing -_-

Dannig does not have any new dialogue in the log book instance

When I return to hideout, the quest state returns to "Search for Ancient Kalguuran texts at Expedition Sites"

when i re-enter the log book instance and the quest wants me to talk to Dannig, but if I go back into the room with the text, the quest item is on the ground but I cannot interact with it.
how am i supposed to proceed ?!?!?

Same issue here:

1. Enter/Complete a log book

2. Found the quest item text in the abyss style door-in-the-floor.

3. Quest updates to "Return to Dannig to hear a translation..."

4. Dannig does not have any new dialogue in the log book instance

I am also having the same problem. I see the Ancient Kalguuran Text on the floor but cannot interact with it. The quest 'The Lost Expedition' says to return to Dannig to hear a translation of the text so it seems like the quest thinks I picked up the item. Dannig doesn't have any additional options to advance the quest, however.

Same issue, I thought I picked it up... But I went back in to the cave to pick up the remaining loot, and it was back on the floor...

So I try and click it, nothing... will not pick up.

I go to talk to him, nothing, will not discuss the text.
