Consistent game crashes and/or DC's

I've had the same issue for the past few days with a fix (atleast locally for myself);

I typically run a custom profile for undervolting + OC'ing my graphics card (3070) with MSI Afterburner. I've turned it off to default to test some stability issues / faultfinding and have found my PoE now runs stable with no profiles applied and the card running at default settings.

Ingame settings cap framerate to monitor refresh rate with vysnc off

This may be a case of having to benchmark your undervolt + OC profiles again as PoE as per usual is pushing hardware to crashes

So there doesn't seem to be any common factor that I can determine but all day since launch my game just crashes and I have to re-launch the game. Sometimes it will just disconnect me and give me the "Unexpected disconnection" message at the log in screen in the bottom left corner but usually the game shuts down all together.

all but one time my Client.txt has recorded this during the crash:

2021/07/24 16:06:19 58283656 893 [INFO Client 2380] Abnormal disconnect: An unexpected disconnection occurred.

2021/07/24 16:15:24 58828187 893 [INFO Client 14584] Abnormal disconnect: An unexpected disconnection occurred.

(many other crashes have occurred these are just the 2 most recent to this post.

The only other more defined recording from my Client.txt file is this:

2021/07/24 14:38:47 53031171 893 [INFO Client 13408] Abnormal disconnect: An unexpected disconnection occurred.

(GetDeviceRemovedReason: The GPU will not respond to more commands, most likely because of an invalid command passed by the calling application.)

I have not changed any settings within the game or my computer and I did not have any issue running the game on full settings before (I have since tried lowering a bunch of settings in-game but that has no effect and the game still crashes)

The machine I am running the game on is an Alienware 17 R4 laptop.

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

The GPU is Nvidia GTX 1070.

Please let me know if there is any other information that I can provide to help you help me!

Thanks in advance.
