The front page of a forum that isn't even where the developer posts. I don't think GD has as many people as you think it does. I suspect a negative thread in Reddit gets a ton more views. I'm not saying that's better, just saying what I think it is.

The goal of this thread for you is to decrease revenue and spread negativity though. That's very telling, and a little refreshing that at least someone is being honest about it.

Well, it is the revenue loss that makes GGG pay attention. Oh, I think you are right about negative threads in Reddit getting more views.

My goal? I’m like a dog chasing cars, I wouldn’t know what to do if I caught one, you know, I just do…things. I'm just responding to white knights who say that this thread is useless. I believe that it is not. Ironically, white knights keep bumping this thread with dumb things like "see you next league". White knights doing their part to suppress revenue.

It is the negative publicity on general discussion, reddit and youtube that keeps pressure on GGG. GGG knows that they screwed up and they continue to know that they screwed up. They are reminded daily. I'm just describing what is happening. It is important that GGG feels the "weight" of revenue loss. Otherwise, it is just like playing a spreadsheet, right?

In yesterday's GGG post: "We are also investigating whether we can announce future balance changes sooner than usual, ideally ahead of the main expansion announcement livestream, so that players can provide feedback early with enough time for us to potentially act on it.

We were unhappy with how some of the nerfs that took place during 3.15 ended up. While we have already reduced some of the mana nerfs early in Expedition, we will continue to keep an eye on this."

You think "I'm quitting the league" is the reason for GGG tweaking some changes?

The mana multipliers were bad, and has recieved pages upon pages with constructive feedback, telling them why it was bad. "I'm quitting the league" or "Goodbye" is not feedback, it's fishing for confirmation. Come on.

This thread provides a very minimum amount of feedback - from a very minimum amount of players. What, 20-30 unique poster telling GGG that they've quite, where only 10 of those telling them why they quit? Come on.

I think that all negative threads contribute to GGG tweaking some changes due to bad publicity. Revenue loss from bad publicity is the reason GGG is tweaking changes. Unless you think that bad publicity doesn't effect revenue? Come on.

"Goodbye" is feedback and it is bad publicity..it is piss in GGG's eye. That is enough for some people. So what if you think that the feedback is minimal. Bad publicity > feedback.

No, I don't think that that "quality" feedback in this thread is what they're refering to. In what I quoted, GGG is talking about getting feedback about future, prospective changes. This thread is feedback about past changes. Come on.

As long as you keep calling "Goodbye" feedback, it's a pretty logical jump to make. What changes are they supposed to make based on "goodbye"? Are they supposed to guess? Buff minions? Nerf Irelia? Most people are leaving based on some changes, but not the same changes. Yes, "goodbye" does tell them you're unhappy, but unless you tell then "why", it's as productive as an empty glass of water.

That comment was made AFTER your illogical jump, not BEFORE. It was also made in response to you disparaging the feedback in this thread. Again, reading comprehension is an important skill to have.

It's because of my wonderful reading comprehension, that I could deduct that you actually do view "goodbye" as feedback ;) Doesn't matter where/when you wrote it directly, when all of your posts indirectly shout it.

You did prove my point, though - you do view "goodbye" as feedback. But you are right, "goodbye" is refering to changes made, and is as valuable as "I will say goodbye" would be on future changes.

But again, we just have to agree to disagree (second attempt). I'll give you the last word now, as the gentleman I am, please don't draw me in with yet another question. I hope we're done now.
